How to rig a smooth cartoon hand


hi everyone,
a question from a super noob in terms of rigging. How can I rig the hand to make it very smooth as the reference video? I first tried with just 3 bones and very few loopcut but the curve of the fingers was very sharp so tried to increase the numeber of bones and loopcuts but now the result is the one in the image overlying

You might want to try bendy bones for that.
