How to select vertex groups in a more methodical way without missing vertices

hello all ,
first time doing ik rig .
i try to find way to do methodic vertex select groups , but i always miss vertexts .
what is the right way to do this ? is it only manual labor ?
for example here looks like i did select all the faces :

but when i move them in pose mode i can see i missed some :

so ini short what is the right method / trick / way to select the groups right ?

There’s a select button in your properties viewport, in the vertex groups section, that will select all vertices that have been assigned to that group (even at weight 0.)

If you don’t want to select verts at weight 0, you can periodically run a “clean” operation in weight paint mode to remove any vertices from groups to which they have low assignments (like, 0.)

Additionally, if you didn’t know it exists, there’s an X-Ray option in the header next to the Viewport Shading options that allows you to see and select through meshes. See the below video for reference:

Have you checked for doubles? Select all in edit mode and M > By distance. If those are doubles left behind it will fix them.

I found very simple methods , just delete the selected faces and you will see what you missed out , then do undo .

im using it still manually with only eyes im missing some .

Why not just use the vertex group’s select button?
