How To Set The Default Directory, and Why Don't Keypad Keys Work

Hello All.

Question 1: How do I set the default directory for Blender actions (File Save/File Save As, etc.)?

Question 2: I keep numlock off so that I can use the keys on the keypad. It appears though that Blender cannot recognize the keys. Is there a way to fix this?

  1. In user prefs, go to input and type ‘save’ into the search bar.
    > Under ‘Window’ you can change the File Path for Save/SaveAs etc.

  2. Mine works regardless of numlock. Your number pad should just work… unless you don’t want to use the numbers?
