How to slide vertex along edge without preserving UVs?

Hi all
I need to slide a vertex along the edge without preserving the UVs. That means when I slide the vertex along edge, the UV should stretch. I know by pressing ‘G’ twice, the vertex will get constrained to the edge and also it will preserve the UVs. Also pressing Shift+V will do the same thing.
But I need to move the vertex constrained to edge and let the UV stretch.

Any clue?

Thank you

Turn off Correct Face Attributes in the options header

Yep I know that option. But I want the vertex to move along an edge (constrained to the edge). But if I use the gg command and slide, it automatically preserves UVs.
So this is what I want to do: Move vertex constrained to an edge but at the same time stretch the UVs

After you finish the vertex slide operation you can change the options on the menu that appears on the bottom left corner
