I have used the speed effect to speed up a video but the audio doesn’t speed up. Is there a way to make the audio speed up as well?
You can alter an audio strip’s “pitch” in it’s properties window (n-key). This will change the length but also the pitch, so that a normal voice would sound like a chipmunk. It’s ok for small speed changes but pretty annoying for large changes (unless you want that helium squeak sound effect).
Otherwise you need a DAW to alter length by resampling (Audacity can do a good job).
I just used imovie it can speed up the video and sound at the same time
