How to stop E-Cycles rendering in the background?

The rendering engine E-Cycles has this rendering in the background feature, once started it will render huge .Exr files in the background even after the blender program closed.
Other than closing it forcibly in Task Manager, is there a way I can stop it from rendering inside Blender?

I think rendering in the background feature is not invented by E-Cycles, but rather a function Blender has and is utilized by E-Cycles.

Is there a way to stop it? Normally I just click X on the upper-right corner to close the rendering window and also same time close the rendering progress in Blender, but in E-Cycles it is not working.

Thanks!
