How to use color ramp RGB with black spots

Hi!

I’m trying to archive procedurally coloring an object with RGB, but also with a 4th color - black. Color ramp RGB with black spots. Is that possible? I don’t know, if am I suppose to combine it maybe with another layer of color ramp, but all my attempts were unsuccessful so far.

Any advice is welcome!


Doing it in GN is probably not the best as you’re restricted to the vertices.

I know it’s restricted to vertices, as later down the line, I need to be able to convert that information to my game model. That’s the way it’s done here.

Have to say, it actually worked pretty well, that my attempt. I just needed to tweak it a bit more.

You could do this:

Maybe it is not what you are after.

You can also make a colour ramp with inputs and input images/paterns into the colour inputs, that way you can get the spots only in the blue for example.
