How to use make targetless IK

Hands are driven by Forward Kinematics. You can also move the fingers with Inverse Kinematics, as there are targetless IK solvers assigned to their tips

in pose mode, select bone, hit “ctrl-I” to and choose from the menu.
or use the buttons panel, add ik constraint like you would normally but don’t type anything on the target field…
