How to use the Actuator Sensor (as an animation timer)

A small tutorial that I though might be useful. Nice and simple and can be used in a variety of ways. In the video I demonstrate using it to do something at the end of an animation.

Clear instructions and saves loads of timers aha

Apparently if you use a nand controller instead of inverted on the sensor, you don’t need the extra boolean property.

Really ? i need to try this, amazing what we find

so your talking about using nand to turn off a action or?

use a NAND with the “Actuator” sensor. So that you don’t have to click inverted. This means that you can trigger another actuator after the animation has finished (e.g. spawn in a gun).

I just use python and timers, to keep spaghetti from forming,
