How Would I go about texturing this model?

What would the best way be to unwrap this model? (everything except the red eye and the wires)
Just want a bit of advice about it, going to use it for an animation and I got a bit stumped at how to do this correctly without any major stretching or distortion.

It’s best to unwrap each distinct part as a seperate island with something complex like that, imo. It kind of makes a mess until you get it all sorted out, but if you do it all at once, things might not be optimal for your purposes.
