Oh yeah, that’s the good stuff! Grotesquely beautiful, I dare say! But did you make them greenish or is there a problem with the materials?
No problem. I have blender defaults set to “random” to display objects in solid mode, with a less shiny matcap, and it chose green for this one.
I just corrected two problems with the knees because of your experiments, thanks man!!
Glad to be of service.
Facial muscles are going to be limited in Gen1, I simply lack the insight into how to make them more advanced. So for now, it looks creepu and cartoonish, deep uncanny valley stuff. But it kinda works…?
First basic thigh muscles. Bone constraints are interacting weird and it’s a nightmare. Already dreaming of a better Gen2, but Gen1 looks fine. It’s just the behind-the-scenes stuff getting to me…!
Some more legwork, and some finishing touches to the lower abdomen. The rear muscles of the thigh are still missing, which makes it look a bit odd, but other than that, it seems okay…
Did some adjusting to the pelvis, which is NOT my best work ever. It looks better, but I a, taking serious notes for what to (not) do, come Gen2!
Also, got some script stuff working, can’t wait till it can be presented in some visual form!
More legwork! Legday is over before really doing the lower shin, though, and the fibula is missing, so lower extremes look a bit off.
I will take a brief break to focus on the movie coding, but will be back soon. Play with the guy in the meantime!

Treated myself after getting some movie stuff done (WIP stuff coming soon). Just an animation test, looks pretty nice. Under 2sec render per frame, not that bad…
Not sure how I missed my buddy here being updated…
Gymnastics stretch, or worst superman pose ever, you decide.
Hey, with my ill fated simplicity thread elsewhere, I completely failed to keep up with this! I loooove the images, with some weird special enjoyment from the “Superman split” at the top! I will study them all very closely once I eeturn from the movie work to improve the base human rig. Thank you for yoyr excellent contributions!
And every scale attempt just makes me want to do body horror stories…!
My work on the movie is closing up slowly, but as of this morning, a new cause for pause (paws?) arrived as one of my rescue kittens(!) gave birth to three tiny kittens. Born by a small, young, homeless mother, who panicked and refuses them, their entire survival mow depends on me. I expect I will fail, nut they deserve the full effort for a month or two…
Edit: Rendered in utero, I guess?
I’ll keep my fingers crossed for those tiny furry larvae.
Thanks. Not sure why I posted it here, I think I just need an outlet for my stress and fears about caring for such vulnerable things. Now I will go feed them. Again.
Artists have the best way of referring to babies.
I admit that I was not the artist creating this work. I am just a proud (terrified) curator.
Finally got around to looking a bit closer at each of your designs. I was wondering how you did number 7, the “lady of the night” pose, as I chose to call it? The waist/hip section is clearly not advanced enough to carry that pose well, but if you gave me some info, I might figure out how it could work. If that makes sense. I didn’t get a lot of sleep (see previous few posts)
