Hi, I am Yana. Before I became an animator, I was a journalist. And with this new project I am mixing my two big passions: research and art.
This is a pilot episode of Keyframes, an animated video podcast about the history of cinema. We’ll start by going through classic films from around the world released in 1950 – and some later movies that were influenced by them.
As I go from one masterpiece to another, I illustrate it all with my own animations inspired by those films, actors, and places. Any ideas what movies we’ll cover?
