Change the image texture to ‘non color data’
And then plug it into the color input slot on the node, not the strength input.
I did change the node connections. I found out it displays great inside Evee, but will not show in cycles. The normal was baked with cycles.
Did you switch it to ‘non color data’?
That is what I changed it with. The normal map works under Eevee rendering, but not cycles. My blender is about 2 days old.
That fixed two problems. Cycles plus Eevee are now rendering the normal map. Plus the seem that was showing is now fixed.
