I can't avoid cloth tearing in simulation

Hey guys !

I want to do a simulation of a soft body falling on cloth.
The ball and the cloth are interacting, but my cloth ends up tearing, letting the ball through, and then untearing himself ?? I want the ball to roll on the cloth without any tearing.

(might not be clear, but the ball is really tearing up the cloth and going through)

My modifiers setup :
Ball : Soft body (no goal) + Collision (default)
Cloth : Cloth + collision (or not, it doesn’t fix the problem)

I tried increased collision quality steps of cloth, adding subdivisions, tweaking tension and bending in cloth modifier, so I’m out of ideas.
