I need help as soon as possible. 
I don’t know why but I pose my model (I’m in pose mode and I have all the bones selected, etc), I try to insert keyframe but the menu doesn’t show up. it just says "Successfully added 3 keyframes for keying set ‘button keying set.’ I don’t know what it means. I don’t know if I accidentally pressed something. Sorry.

I was weight painting a dress and adjusting some faults with shape keys and faced the same problem. And i can’t seem to figure out what has caused it as i could insert key frames earlier but not anymore.
Wow, 6 year old post with no answers. Yay…
For anyone who is still interested: You have to go to the scene properties and under keying sets, delete the keying set. This worked for me.
