I export a pyro from C4D as VDB but the rendering time is not displayed with the cycle?(only cycle)

render only in eevee !

Welcome to the community!

You have set your material to render only in Eevee.
eevee_node

The reason why this setting exists is so you can have a different material in each renderer. If you want to have the same material in both Eevee and Cycles, you should set the “material output” node to “all”.

Ok, I didn’t pay attention to this option…check again

I checked in different modes and tested with other VDB files, they are fully rendered in the rendering cycle, but this file, which was output from Cinema 4D, only works in Eevee mode. I think the problem is with the VDB output !?

The VDB file on the right is the output of Cinema 4D and the file on the left is another VDB file.

How is called the grid in Volume Data properties ?
If it is not called “density”, that may explain the issue.

Everything seems to be correctly set.
I don’t really see what could be the problem.
Maybe a special character in file path ?
You probably should write a bug report.

Did you solve this problem? I found that if the luminous intensity in the principle is adjusted, VDB will display VDB at the view window. But it is still not displayed in the rendering of F12

Have this problem too… In eevee everything ok but in cycles not.
