I finished the CG fast track sword tutorial - advices needed going from here

Hi there!

I finished the sword tutorial by CG fast track and it was a breeze. I haven’t tried yet the donut by Blender Guru.

Now I’m thinking beginning the Blender Fundaments Vol1 - Modeling, again from CG fast track. Did you follow this path or is there a better one?

CG Fast Track is an amazing teacher! i didn’t follow the donut tutorial either (but i followed some other tutorials of Blender Guru, like the anvil tutorial)

you’ll learn alot from Blender Fundamentals. Once you master that, you are ready to move on to the next step

I’ve googled Blender Fundamentals, and those are tutorials from the Blender foundation itself, is that right?

you are correct. CG Fasttrack has a course about the fundamentals but it is not for free

Thanks! I’m now doing the donut tutorial from Blender Guru, and then I’ll advance to the Blender Fundamentals from CG Fasttrack.
