After I finished my project, I tried to rename it and it disappeared completely, even records were deleted. What may be the reason of this and how can I recover it? (It’s not in the bin)
Have you tried to display the idden files ?
In linux if you add a . at the beginning of a name that file is automatically hidden, could it be something like that ? What’s your OS ?
is the corresponding .blend1 file gone as well? If it is there you can simply re-name it to .blend and use it.
Otherwise you can check the autosave folder
file → recover → autosave
