Cool! How did you do the angle correction for the boat? I’ve seen a method that uses a snapped face to determine direction, but I’m curious to see what you did.
Thank you! I used an invisible plane that is distorted using the same noise texture as the hex tiles but with a higher resolution. Then I used raycasting to drop the boat onto that plane and align its z-axis to the plane normal at the ray’s hit position
