Hey! Here I am again.
This summer I spent a lot of time on several rendering projects, and after this long time I felt like my skills in poly modeling were completely gone. So I accepted the reality, went to my local 1-dollar store and bought this atrocity.
I called it AliExpress Ancient Sword Dragonslayer King Vintage Rollerball Pen Unique Brass Sculpting Kung Fu Office Home Supplies
It looked so silly and stupid, that it was love at first sight. I decided to model it no matter what, specifically by pure polymodeling for SubD. It was a hard road for me, as my modeling abilities are still very weak. The whole pen was made in one piece, so I wanted to model it as one solid mesh. I worked on the most detailed parts individually and welded them with the rest of the pen after.
It was a cool road filled with love, hate, bliss, and disappointment, but after a few allnighters, I managed to finish this thing.
And to celebrate my victory, I made a few renders to make it look cool!
