I tried to recreate Feather 3D's basic operation(guide tool) with 4.3

Feather 3D is a very simple 3D drawing software.
It was originally a web platform service, but due to the company’s circumstances, it’s an iOS-only software nowdays with a promise that it will return someday.

It was a meaningful software that allowed me to enjoy drawing again when it was a web platform, but since I really missed it so much that so I implemented the ‘Guide’ tool, which is the basic function of Feather 3D, as a geometry node in the tool context mode directly in Blender.

The workflow is not smooth, but Blender 4.3 has enough environment to realize this idea, so I tried it, and it seems not bad.

This results even surprised the developer of Feather 3D, I hope Blender will support better multi-touch operations someday too…

Yeah, I remember a debate from a decade ago, when it was decided that “nobody (in Blender cult) uses touch devices”, while Windows OS was way behind Apple devices in this regard…
Looks like mouse-(mind)-trap lingers on.

Keep it up!
