I want to learn Blender

I want to learn blender in advanced way. Need some guidance about where should I start. Although, I don’t wanna start from scratch.

Try doing something that is complicated. For example animation. Write screenplay, make your own characters (modeling, UVMapping, textures, rigging) then detailed scene, then create some key-frames and use Dope Sheet & Non Linear Animation & Graph editor then render. At the end mount with VSE and add voice. And You have 1 person movie company

And You learned how to use nearly all Blender Tools.

Blender is a 3D graphical suite to produce animate movies that evolves quickly.
It can be used to create game assets, illustrations, 3D printable sculptures, VR scenes, …

That is impossible to become a specialist of all those types of productions, in a short amount of time, and stay up to date in all of them while you are delivering some work.
So, if you want to dive in a field of expertise, first, you have to decide what kind of creation you want to accomplish in Blender.

Animation schools are proposing different curriculum corresponding to different job positions, spread on several years of learning.

What does this mean ?? What is you level of knowledge according to:

  • 3D modeling
  • textureing
  • shader editing
  • animation
  • compositing
  • painting

…because you can do all this (and more ) with blender (even text editing ) .

I know all of these a little bit, but I am not proficient, lot of time I have to go on internet to find some help and some sort of guidance while doing some project.

Well… how do you think some of the users here learnt it ( me included )… ??

It’s like learning to speak… ride a bicyle… or to write… learning by doing, not to ask too much what is best but look at other workflow; understand that different goals need different workflows; what’s good for one could be bad for another; think for yourself… and finally : practice, practice, practice, practice and then maybe als some excercises…

( Did you know that for example for drawing people do make warm-ups… and this also applies for modeling… )
