I searched this forum for Icarus, and was unable to find any “lively links” that I could use, especially 2.09 Full.
Now that I’ve found it, would anyone like it?

To follow The Pixel Farm’s request, I need state the following:
This software is unsupported, and is ONLY for non-comercial use.
To purchase the newer software, please refer to http://www.thepixelfarm.co.uk/
renatoMM, file has been sent. Please let me know how it works.
I found Icarus 2.09 on a PtoP network, and out of the millions computers connected, I only found 7 computers with this file. It took a day or two for me to download it.
Sadly, I have not seen a version for Macs yet, but it doesn’t mean there isn’t a copy floating around in the internet’s digital stewpot somewhere.
Sorry guys, but I have to stop you there.

Icarus is still under license: http://aig.cs.man.ac.uk/early/icarus/

Icarus was developed as a research project at Manchester University. It was distributed on the basis it was free to use for non commercial purposes or £700 for commercial use. Unfortunately many people used, and continue to use, the software on a commercial basis. The research project ended and we then licensed the technology. PFTrack 3.0 has very little if any of the Icarus code within it and the two main developers of Icarus now work for The Pixel Farm.
In terms of distribution, the code is not in the public dominate and not supported and as such should not really be in circulation. The license agreement still stands and as such any commercial use of the software should still be paid for.
That said as long as you make these things clear and provide a link to our web site with any download and make it clear that the software is unsupported and cannot be used for commercial projects, we will take no action to prevent you.
I appoligize for the confusion I created. If I had known that my actions were questionable, I would have asked first.
I assumed that since the software was no longer being produced or supported, and that it was free for non comercial use, it was ok for me to legally share this great software, as I have with Blender.
From now on, I’ll try to make sure there is little question to the software I share.
Thank you Weirdhat for clearing this up, and thank you Gabio for maintaining this wonderful forum.
Paul_C, do you have 2.07 for your Mac? If not, I can send that for now.
