This was a fun project because I love geometry and I learned a lot of compositing in it. I also went crazy with the textures.
looks amazing nice details
Thanks here are the other two. I’m a photographer first and so I love that with 3d modeling you can zoom in infinitely close, maintain clarity, and create an image at any resolution and clarity you want. These things you can’t do with photography.

Very cool 7over6!
How have you done the wires? With skin modifier?
EDIT: It would be interesting to see an animation!
No modifiers needed. I made Icosahedrons from the add>mesh dialog. Then I grabbed all the triangle faces and shrunk them. I have about 4 different icosohedron balls all made with different amounts of subdivision so some have a lot of triangles to start out with some have less. And each has a different material with reflection or transparency etc. Then I made more icosahedrons with wireframe and others with halo textures to fill in the gaps in between. Also I made a sphere, did subdivide and added lots of fractal so it was all spokey and random, then I added a halo texture so all the vertices became balls of light and that’s why it looks like there’s a particle emitted in the middle shooting out blue and purple particles. I also extruded the vertices of an icosahedron out past the entire globe size and that’s how I got what you see in the core - the center shape with lines shooting out from the center.
I’ve considered making an animation of this, it would be beautiful.
