Ik rig leg and arm moving slightly out of place

I’ve rigged one of my characters arm and was trying to an ik rig to it. The ik rig works and all but moves slightly out of place when I go into edit mode. It’s small but noticeable for me. Any solutions…?
Thanks.

Tweak the constraint’s pole angle property

So, after neutralizing the pose while in pose position (select all, then use ALT+G and ALT+R to remove the transforms), does it go out of place when you switch to rest position?

Attaching IK to the mesh seems to slightly displace the limb in rest position (which Edit mode uses). If you want them to match, I would duplicate the rig, either remove the IK or set it to rest position, then slowly adjust the pole angle on the IK constraint until it overlaps the other rig perfectly.

I see, thank you for your response. I had my pole angle on -90 which made it have that changing effect between edit and pose. I’ve changed it back to 90 and it’ll do. Thank you again.

You’re welcome, but I should clarify: it doesn’t necessarily need to be 90 degrees - I was just showing you where you set the pole angle. In fact, for that specific rig, 90 degrees is the wrong angle by a few degrees, but it’s a WIP and I wasn’t finished with it. I just wanted to show you where the settings were.

If you get the pole angle to the exact right value, it won’t shift at all.
