IK solver tutorial

Yo all,

Created this tutorial a month or so ago. Its all about how to set up IK solvers, nothing complex like rigging a hand, just building up an understanding on how its all done.

[IK tutorial](http://www.linx-it.homedns.org/files/IK_solver.pdf)

Enjoy!

Dead link, man. Bump if you find another IK solver tutorial, I’ve been searching everywhere for them.

Sorry about that, the file server was getting cleaned.

I’ve fixed the link you should be able to download it now.

doh, pdf :frowning: why people using this format?

Because some people like to print out the tutorial and read it as the go thru the instructions contained in it on the computer.

Becuase its a format that can run on all Operating Systems. And is simple and easy to use. And you can hardly go wrong with them.

Again dead link, man what server are you on ?

Not aiming to hijack the thread or anything, but I found a couple of nice IK mini-tuts on ZanQdo website (Wink-made flash files)

You can always take a look at: http://blenderartists.org/forum/showthread.php?t=69910

kit, dude. the link is still dead

as for the rest of the links, thanks a lot guys. it still appears, however, that they’re all very basic armature tutorials. does anyone have anything possibly more advanced, like, a complete character rigging tutorial? thanks!

how about this one ?? I think it’s really well written and a good tute
