Image not showing on UV unwrapping

As you can see on Blender guru’s video, the texture is showing up behind the unwrapped mesh and not showing up on mine. Is it something i did or is it a bug on 2.82??

In the UV window you still have it set to the default material, use the drop down and select the new texture you made for the cup…
