Import obj without tris

How to properly import a obj object without getting triangles or ngons.
Tris to squares still show a lot of tris. Tested blender 2.79 and 2.8

No getting away from this, unless the object was initially exported as pure quads, there are normally areas where tris are inevitable. Even if it is al lquasd, the geometry flow may get re-interpreted and soem work needs to be done. I highlight this in my video on mesh cleanup, there are even times where rebuilding a section from scratch is more efficient than trying to fix the imported mesh. Unless you exported the object yourself from another package and understand it’s topology, there’s always going to be cleanup required.
