Importing correct pivots

I was working now on a very big project where I used blender for animation and everyone in the team was using different softwares (eventually everything went into unity)
I kept having issues with importing objects with their correct pivots. everything that got imported got his pivot on the Zero location of the world. the only import that more or less worked was allembic, but it also had some pivot issues and I had to bake each object if I wanted to use the animation.

Does anyone know a better solution? seems like blender still have a lot of issues with import and export especially when it comes to FBX which is currently the most idle format when it comes to work with other softwares
