Just running into a simple error where importing a PNG image (exported from Photoshop with transparency) when imported as a Mesh Plane ( image texture has color into the base color of bsdf and the alpha output from the image texture into the input alpha of the bsdf) but still shows black background where it’s supposed to be transparent in Cycles!
What could I be overlooking?

Thank you! I’ve honestly spent like two hours scouring YT and Reddit threads to my fail. Either I’m doing something wrong or there’s something I’m missing out, I even put my blender to factory default settings and nothing changed so I’m at a loss here
I did try to download a brand new version of Blender like 5.0 instead but I’m gonna try a new scene altogether thank you! I’ll upload a blend file in here if that doesn’t work!
