Include/Exclude lights from certain scene objects?!

Exclude - include options are old things… C4D have it many, many years ago, probably before Modo. Also most of 3rd party renders which support C4D have this abilities. So are this possible because C4D internally support this feature or 3rd party renders have this ability? I only test C4D, never try Arnold, Octane, Redshift in Maya or Max.
Also C4D have one good feature, you have very nice visual representation of light decay.

interestingly not all 3rd party renders support such simple, intuitive stuff. Can’t stress how much this are useful. Also I guess that this is not easy to implement.

The original “Blender Internal (BI)” renderer did have the concept of “layer-specific lights.” I really don’t know why this useful feature went away.
