I’m creating a simple room scene and I need help on the lighting. So far all I’ve been using for the lighting is an area lamp, a hemi lamp, and some approximate occulsion, but I’m not getting a good result. Whats the basic lighting formula for a good indoor scene?
It’s not as simple as applying a basic indoor lighting formula. Check out Tone and Gamma Corrections in my sig, and follow the links there to Yves Poissants’ tutorial. You get great results, though. The finished version of the chess set was compared to an indigo render.
