My latest attempt at a high tech/science scene focused on real technology; an impression of what an inertial confinement fusion reactor cell may look like.
All blender/cycles (except the lens flare). I rendered the scene with three lighting setups, single bright spot, ambient light and some coloured glow lights, then composited then together.
I love the techy feeling you achieved with the lighting and it has got a nice focal point!
The only thing that bothers me is the bump on some metal parts. As a former presicion mechanic I’d expext a better surface quality on such a high tech product
Keep it up!
Thank you all for the nice feedback I’ll work on improving my brushed metal textures though; the bump map seems to be too harsh, perhaps a subtle blend with a rough gloss shader to add some scratches/scuffs/finger prints would work better…
I love this picture. Very good work. It reminds me of my scanning-electron-microskope. does look similar to the specimen chamber. And please add no fingerprints…it´s an high tech device and no one should touch it without wearing gloves
