Hey there, I’m having a Inkscape problem. When I try to turn it on it says something about X11 but no cue. Works on PC. HELP!!
Probably better meant for an inkscape forum, off-topic, or other software, but…
You need to have x11 (a unix windowing system) installed on your mac to run Inkscape. It should be on one of your install discs for OSX.
Right, forTe. Inkscape requires x11 to be installed to run on OSX.
Right Gobley, forTe is right.
Rght forTe, better in inkscape forums or atleast other-software-section here.

You just need to install X11. I’m sure it’s on the mac installation cd’s somewhere. I’m running Inkscape on OSX without problems. You might just install X11 anyway . you’re probably going to need it soon or later (GIMP, Openoffice etc uses it too).
Programs using X11 runs slower.
Good luck
