A flipped normal is entirely black in color clipping through my clothes. I want it to be the same as the outside facing normal so it wouldn’t stand out but I can’t change the color, applying material doesn’t work. I asked the person who modeled and it was probably because of solidifying modifier and how they applied it, but I don’t want to go to the trouble of rerigging and animating it again from a correct model. Is there any way to fix this after applying the modifier?
Check to see that you don’t have a duplicate mesh occupying the same space.

Hmmm, just checked, I don’t think there’s duplicate mesh. ‘Merge by distance’ doesn’t indicate that either.
Check you UV coords. Maybe they are spilling over?

Thank you! But I wasn’t using image texture, it was just one color. But I finally found the issue! The 3D modeler who modeled my character used a custom shader from an MMD third-party app, and all I have to do was TO make sure that Double Sided value is more than 0 or all the way to 1. God, I feel stupid.

Oh man, I should have known it was a double sided issue. I must be slipping.
