Hi
I’m running 2.77 in one of our IT suites for use by the animation club. I’d like to upgrade to 2.79 (and then onto subsequent versions). The copy of 2.77 went out over the network as a package install. Unless I remove any reference from Blender from the registry I get a windows installer 2753 error. I’d rather not have to edit the registry on all the machines if at all possible… 
Has anybody else encountered this problem, and possibly resolved it?
Workstations are Windows 7 pro sp1
