I wanted to share with you guys another of my recent works. It is the interior of a wooden cabin that emits that warm cozy atmosphere during a cold winter afternoon !
Everything’s modeled and rendered with Blender 2.81 with a bit of compositing in photoshop.

but the reflections on the wood on the top left and front walls looks wrong for me, is the normal map ok?
The stones behind the fire are missing one.
Well for the wooden walls they look like that because the lighting is strong therfore the reflections are a bit cranked up, for the stones the normals are subtles… I didn’t want to make it overly bumped !

“Yes, this is plausible,” but “all that snow outside” sure does make a very(!) high-key lighting situation. If maybe you imagined the scene to have “gauzy drapes” in front of that window, maybe then you could plausibly inject some warmer sources of light to sort-of balance things out.
Also: “those are pretty small bricks.” Do you feel that they are really proportional, given the scale suggested by the boards behind them?
