Second post here, this is a fantasy scene I literally just finished. Experimented with using a mist pass for atmospheric scattering (most pronounced in first picture), but ended up enhancing the effect in the other two in photoshop.
Also was the first time I made a procedurally placed forest using hair emitters, however this method seems to cripple my framerates - maybe it is a combination of cycles-reliant ambient occlusion texturing on the arch itself or just overall inadequacy.
