I have two versions of it and cannot decide, which one I like more:
The last one contains an 18-gon produced by the 3 mirrors and 3 sides So I love it just for its shear impossibility. The first one contains more core features, tho.

here is a viewport screenshot of the last one:
The 3 side cubes have an angle of ~60° to each other and are nearly perfectly reflective.
The ground plane is behind the camera shadowing the environment light. You can see it in the images behind the core actually after it was reflected several times.
This is a huge idea…
In the name of the Holy Cube, what have you DONE?!?!?
just to clarify, exactly how many cubes did you use to make this?
That is amazing, nice work!
Essentially, it’s a kalaidoscope. Very cool!
thanks.
There are only 10 cubes: 3 forming the reflecting mirrors, and (for the first image) 1 for the combs, 2 for for blue floaty bit, 2 for for torch floaty bit and 2 for the core ornaments.
here is a view into the prism: with different settings
Thank you.
I admit, I prepared it already for “create” but didn’t know if it fits. and also: still wanted to arrange the bits a bit.
Exactly.
thank you very much.
