Intro animation like this

Hi, would be nice to know how to create an intro animation as in this video. Thanks.

Find out what intro product for what software they bought and buy the same thing. My guess is it’s a combination of cinema4d and after-effects. Possibly entirely implemented within AfterEffects because I think AfterEffects ships with some kind of miniature version of Cinama4D inside of it as a plugin or something.

There are “intro” products entirely implemented with Blender but last I checked, 90% of them were still done with Blender version 2.79. That doesn’t mean they are bad, it just means you’ll have to get a little comfortable with the very old version of Blender.

This is a free cool looking blender based intro: https://www.blendswap.com/blend/22833

I remember trying this in both 2.79 and 2.81 and I think it worked fine in both. I don’t know if it will work 100% in today’s latest version of Blender.

I also remember at one of the blender conferences there was a presentation of a blender based web service where you just type the text you want and they’d render a blender file with your text and you could download the video when it was finished. I can’t remember the name or if they are still in business.

To create a similar effect…
I think we can make it similar using Build modifier and Explode modifier.

It’s possible to predict, but if you actually make it, there will be a lot of problems to solve. It is also questionable whether the output will be at the desired level.

Looks great! Would be nice if you share the file.

I was thinking that there would be some simple way using Geometry Nodes.

How do we make the material emission once the fall apart starts?

I think it’s possible with a geometry node, but I don’t know how.
The method I used is simple (see image) and rendered with EEVE
