Hello. I’m making a character with long hair that has a ponytail that begins below the shoulders. A bit like thisbut lower.
After I started though I realized that my hair style might not even be possible. It involves the hair band controlling the hair while the band it’s self is being manipulated by the hair and physics when running. I am unsure if the blender programmers have even questioned how this could be pulled off. 
Now I am an utter noob at blender particles and physics and it probably isn’t my place to try such an ambitious project, so if there is a way, well, pretend your explaining it to a kindergartner and ill try to research the big words (that is if it’s even possible).
(I am using Blender 7.1 and Particles for the hair)
