Is "Append" working in Version 2.23?

Hi Blender Experts,

Is “Append” available in 2.23? (Linux Static version)

After I select the file I want to append from, I just get a blank window and can’t see any objects to select for the append.

I think I recall someone saying something about this but can’t find anything using the search function.

All advice welcome.

it works for me with Win2k

It has never worked for me on my Linux box. If I need to append something, I use 2.22 (well, I use 2.22 most of the time anyway).
