Is it normal for Blender to freeze at .005 Voxel Remesh?

Hey guys, may i ask is it normal for blender to freeze at.005? so i had to remesh it at .01

but then I feel like my model still isn’t detailed enough (like the eyes and lips look like pixelated) so why is my computer freezing?

Do i need to scale down my model, or does scaling have no bearing on it?

I think that depends on the hardware. With my specs I don’t see the need to go below 0.02. Smooth shading is not an option? And what about using dyntopo? Or another remesher that has dynamic resolution?

i was thinking Dynotopo too. but then i watched youtuber’s tutorials saying Remesh is faster and less cpu/gpu intensive.
