Right now, I’m using Blender to design game resources for Unity. I’m not entirely sure if it is possible, but it would help a lot.
Texture maps, bump maps, normal maps, specular maps etc can be exported individually from blender as simple textures or use the Render / Bake options to bake the material to an image texture.

Blender 2.71 allows texture baking from the cycles renderer and if you want to see tutorials about texture baking in blender just search youtube for blender texture baking for a gazillion different videos
