Is it possible to manipulate Blender's timeline display to show bars and measures based on BPM?

Is it possible to manipulate Blender’s timeline display using Blender API to show bars and measures based on BPM? And enable snapping to bars or measures for music animations?
There was an add-on called Rhythm for something like that but I cannot find it anywhere.

Thanks ajcdfin, but it looks like that one doesn’t change the timeline display, it’s still frames or seconds.
