Is there a repository of tree cards anywhere?

I’ve seen a few tuts and I guess chatgpt could help me make a script to make a load of tree cards with normal maps but i was wondering if someone had already done it for me? Can’t find any on google because it shows greetings cards…

You mean images of trees with transparent background ?? The net is full of this…

Of course the technical term card in 3D means something specific so you might add asset, 3D or 2D…

I suspect that most people just make them as need be. So you’d get your full 3D realistic tree (of the type/size, etc that you want) and then render it from front and side on and place it on a couple of planes.

Sketchfab has thousands. We used some acacias like this for work recently from Sketchfab

Oh this was just some examples… images with transparent backgrounds are in the net for ages… especiall when trees photographed against a blue sky is it quit easy to make this…

thanks but I was specifically looking for normals maps as well so i can somewhat fake light

I’m a little biased, but it sounds like Alpha Trees would do what you want:

Vue and plantfactory are free now and you can export models with cards. Look pretty good.
