Is there network on windows?

Am I wrong or blender on windows doesn’t support network?
If copy-paste network path directly it asks if I want to create a new directory.

As far as I can remember you have to navigate to networks manually in blender
(my server has been down a while)

I’m not sure I understand what navigate manually means - do I have to connect to network somewhere in blender?

Currently, the only way to do what you’re looking for is to mount that network share as an actual drive. How, exactly, you do that depends on your OS.
