Iso angle Shader - useful for high quality surfaces diagnostics, A-class

IsoAngleShader.blend (541.3 KB)

Here is a simle, but super-useful (not for everybody) shader for evaluating high quality technical surfaces, typically for automotive.
It is based on this Maya tutorial from my former schoolmate (thanks dude), recreated in Blender and 100% procedural.
The use is similar to more popular zebra stripes, but Iso angle shader is not “reflection” based, rather mapped on the surface, therefore much more readable.
I hope it will help someone, and possibly get improved (there are some issues with using other than “z” vector as a projection vector, but “Z” is used for 99% anyway.
Cheers
