Issue with boot

Hi
So I am modeling a boot. The flap at the top when it comes to texturing is where I am running into issues.I fold the flap over to hang down which now puts the faces inward to the boot and i either can’t paint the flap or have to paint the inside which used to be the outside. is there a setting the allows to paint inside out?

Basically I can’t paint the section the red arrow is pointing at except by painting where the blue arrow is aiming.

Why are you modeling the flap up, that is causing the problem. Just model it flap down over the boot with face normal out.

Thx Ridix. Actually that got me thinking and I found a command in the faces menu called flip normals that solved the problem.
