Issue with vertices when extruding the mesh in edit mode - sharp vertices / edges

Hello guys,

Recently I’ve been trying to model some of my drawings. I started from a cube, deleted the vertices and kept just one to build the whole mesh. When I applied the subdivision surface modifier and extruded the whole thing, I noticed that some vertices were sharp. For some, I succeed by removing vertices and creating new ones. Nevertheless, these on the screenshots still appear no matter what modifications I try. Any ideas on what I’m doing wrong ?

Topology issue.
It’s well explained in the video below, but it’s a little long. :slightly_smiling_face:

It also looks like there are overlapping edges.

Don’t forget to check your normals (Viewport Overlays > Face Orientation). Some of these might be caused by partially flipped faces.
